Attended British Aerobatic Academy for my Advanced UPRT course, and I found it to be absolutely brilliant. From day one they adapted to my needs and made me feel comfortable throughout the course duration.

The Theory was done over zoom and BAA did excellent work in refreshing my previous knowledge from ATPL Theory and Hour Building, as well as building upon that base. All the major points that were needed were hit.

The facilities at Fowlmere are somewhat basic but nevertheless perfectly serviceable. They aim to complete the flying in 1 day, so I’d recommend bringing your own food and drink as the shops are quite far away from the airfield.

I felt somewhat unwell during the flights and BAA adapted very well to this and handled everything throughout the day professionally, always with a smile on their face, and I was able to schedule a 2nd day to complete the course. I don’t think there’s a better place in the UK to do a UPRT, the quality of instruction and flying from them was brilliant, especially from Maciej and Marc-Antoine. The flights in the Grob 115D2 and Extra 200 were simply amazing.

Overall, it’s a great course with great value for money, as well highly recommended.
