BAA is based at Fowlmere airfield, a nice airfield with basic facilities. The staff were all very friendly and the aircraft were well looked after.

The groundschool was done in one day over a zoom call and was very good

The training was completed over two days and was superb. The instructors really looked after you.

At the end of the course they present you with your certificate and that’s it, all done.

The value for money is unbeatable in the UK.

The only negative was the way they allocated slots – if the first flight of the day was delayed, they wouldn’t cancel it and get on with the rest of the flights, they would delay and delay until they could go which meant people would turn up in the afternoon and be told they wouldn’t be flying as they were running late. I always booked in the morning so it wasn’t a problem for me, but was a bit unusual.

Apart from that, it was a fantastic place to go to and a really enjoyable course
