I did my UPRT-A here in Nov 2019. It took only 2 days to complete this. 

CRM Aviation are based at White Waltham, close to Heathrow. The place itself has a typical “UK GA” feel about the place which you’ll enjoy if coming from a big training school. With grass runways, it can become waterlogged. They use Slingsby T67 Firefly aircraft for the course, which are THE perfect UPRT training aircraft. All in great condition. 

The instructors are not your average career FI’s, and all have some sort of background in Aviation where UPRT skills are important. My favourite was David Best, who was able to provide relevant stories from his test pilot career to teach the course. 

The facility itself can be a little hard to find at first, as parking is a little bit of a walk away. All in all I had a great experience here and would highly encourage anyone needing a UPRT-A certificate to enrol here.
